The Camillus® Santoku Knife is excellent for slicing and downward push cuts. The best use of this knife, however, is to utilize the belly of the knife in a beautiful rocking action that makes the chore of chopping a breeze.
The 5-1/4" blade (10-3/4" overall length) is constructed from German ThyssenKrupp 4116 stainless steel that features a good balance between carbon and chromium, which is the secret behind its exceptional corrosion resistance, edge retention and added strength. Designed for the chef at heart, this knife would make a great gift for the cook in your family. Shape, mount and finish your custom handle for a truly one-of-a-kind, high-quality knife. Scale material (handle) and epoxy are sold separately.
