The Swarovski STS-80 HD Spotting Scope (Arca Swiss Foot) combines all of the best features that Swarovski has to offer. To ensure the images you see through the scope are as bright as can be, the 80 mm objective lens is treated with the SWAROTOP coating to maximize light transmission. This fluoride-containing HD lens eliminates chromatic aberration to reproduce colors to an unprecedented degree of accuracy. To protect this invaluable lens from the environment, Swarovski uses their SWAROCLEAN coating, a dust, water and oil resistant material that lets you spend much less time cleaning and more time viewing! SWARODUR coating on the lenses and prism reduces detrimental reflections to nearly nothing (0.2%) for the best possible contrast across the visible light spectrum. The Arca Swiss Foot lets you mount the scope on any tripod with an Arca Swiss mounting socket. The body is waterproof and nitrogen purged with extremely durable rubber armor that eliminates the need for a case.
